Bei Mivolis Erythrit handelt es sich um eine feinkörnige, kalorienfreie Zuckeralternative, mit der Speisen und Getränke gesüßt werden können. Erythrit ist etwas weniger süß als Zucker (1 g Erythrit entspricht ca. 0,7 g Zucker), gut löslich und besonders gut auch zum Backen und Kochen geeignet. Der Verzehr von Lebensmitteln/Getränken, die anstelle von Zucker Erythrit enthalten, trägt zur Erhaltung der Zahnmineralisierung bei und bewirkt, dass der Blutzuckerspiegel nach ihrem Verzehr weniger stark ansteigt als beim Verzehr von zuckerhaltigen Lebensmitteln/Getränken.
