How to build a routine that fits

Start at the scalp, not the ends. If roots get oily quickly, use a mild cleansing shampoo and keep masks and oils below ear level. If the scalp is dry or reactive, gentler formulas and fewer washes are usually more comfortable.

Hair texture then decides how rich the care should be. Fine hair does better with light conditioners and very little oil so it is not weighed down. Thick, curly or coloured hair tolerates richer masks and leave-ins. Introduce one new product at a time so you can tell what caused a reaction, and read the directions and warnings on the pack before use.

Which shampoo suits my hair type?

Fine hair suits light volumising shampoos, dry and coloured hair suits moisture-rich formulas, and an oily scalp suits mild cleansing shampoos. The scalp decides more than the length does. The exact suitability is stated on the pack.

How often should I use a hair mask?

One to two applications per week is enough for most masks, and more only for heavily stressed hair. Contact time and frequency are printed on the pack and should not be exceeded.

What is the difference between a conditioner and a mask?

A conditioner works in a minute or two and is used after every wash. A mask is more concentrated, stays on longer and is used once or twice a week.

Are these genuine German products?
