Doppelherz Vitamin C 1000 + D3 + Zinc provides 1000 mg of vitamin C in combination with 1000 IU of vitamin D3 (= 25 μg of vitamin D3) and 12 mg of zinc to support normal immune system function. Adequate nutrient intake plays a crucial role in a strong immune system and healthy defenses. The body cannot store certain vitamins for long. For example, if large amounts of vitamin C are ingested at once, the body excretes some of it unused. Our bodies can produce vitamin D through regular exposure of the skin to sunlight. However, this natural production is often insufficient in our latitudes, especially during the winter months.
