Instructions for use

tetesept Seawater Nasal Rinse Salt is suitable for use with standard nasal irrigation devices using 250 ml of water (37°C). The water should always be fresh and must be of at least drinking water quality. tetesept Seawater Nasal Rinse Salt is suitable for preparing two different saline solutions: The isotonic saline solution (1 sachet in 250 ml water) is intended for moisturizing and cleansing the nasal mucosa and as a supportive measure for colds. This solution is therefore particularly suitable for preventive and regular use. Isotonic nasal rinses can be performed up to 3 times daily with 250 ml of solution each time. Intensive cleansing and moisturizing of the nose can be achieved with just one application per day. The hypertonic saline solution (2 sachets in 250 ml water) is intended for the symptomatic treatment of colds, allergies, and nasal congestion. The increased salt content of this solution causes a natural decongestion of the nasal mucous membranes, as excess fluid is naturally drawn out through the so-called osmosis effect. This solution is therefore particularly suitable for use in acute cases such as a blocked nose and a runny nose. Hypertonic nasal rinses can be performed up to twice daily with 250 ml of solution each time. The duration of use should not exceed 30 days. After rinsing: If you wish to blow your nose immediately after the rinsing treatment, make sure to close only one nostril to avoid increasing the pressure in the nasal cavity. The pressure created in this way can force the solution and secretions into the passages connecting the nose to the ears or sinuses. The fluid usually drains back on its own very quickly.
