Täysimettäminen ensimmäiset 6 kuukautta on ihanteellista vauvallesi. Huomio: kuten kaikkia jatkosekoitteita, MILASAN 2:ta ei tule käyttää äidinmaidonkorvikkeena ensimmäisten 6 kuukauden aikana, vaan vasta sen jälkeen osana monipuolista ruokavaliota.
Vauvasi yksilölliset kasvu- ja kehitystarpeet voivat kuitenkin edellyttää, että jatkosekoitteita otetaan osaksi sekaruokavaliota jo aiemmin. Keskustele tästä lastenlääkärisi kanssa.
Äidinmaito sisältää myös hiilihydraatteja, kuten MILASAN 2. Usea tai jatkuva kontakti hiilihydraattipitoisen ruoan kanssa voi aiheuttaa hampaiden reikiintymistä. Siksi pulloruokailun — kuten imetyksenkin — tulisi kestää vain niin kauan kuin varsinaiseen juomiseen tarvitaan. Älä anna lapsen imeä pulloa jatkuvasti.
