Mivolis-inhalaatioliuos on steriili, isotoninen keittosuolaliuos, joka soveltuu kaikille sähkökäyttöisille suihku- ja ultraäänisumuttimille. Yksittäisampullit ovat heti käyttövalmiita ja niitä voidaan käyttää hengitysteiden kosteuttamiseen tarpeen mukaan useita kertoja päivässä. Hengitystieoireissa, kroonisissa hengitystiesairauksissa ja flunssan yhteydessä inhalaatio voi olla järkevä terapeuttinen tuki oireiden lievittämiseksi. Inhaloinnin aikana suolaliuos muuttuu hienoiksi pisaroiksi (aerosoleiksi), jotka hengitettäessä saavuttavat sekä ylemmät (nenä, nenäontelo ja nielu) että alemmat (henkitorvi, keuhkoputket ja keuhkokudos) hengitystiet. Suolapitoinen aerosoli kosteuttaa keuhkoputkia ja helpottaa näin kiinteän liman poistumista. Näin inhalaatio voi lyhentää sairauden kestoa. Flunssan lisäksi inhalaatioliuos huolehtii hengitysteiden riittävästä kosteutuksesta myös kuivissa tiloissa, joita aiheuttavat lämmitys tai ilmastointi, ja estää limakalvojen epämiellyttävän kuivumisen. Lisäksi sitä voidaan käyttää lääkkeiden laimentamiseen, kun lääkkeen käyttöohje on huolellisesti tarkistettu. Noudata lääkärisi tai apteekkarisi ohjeita. Mivolis-inhalaatioliuos soveltuu myös kroonisten hengitystiesairauksien hoitoon. Myös lapsilla, joilla on hengitystiesairauksia, inhalaatio voidaan toteuttaa hyvin ja hellävaraisesti.

Käyttöohjeet
Tarpeen mukaan, enintään 4 kertaa päivässä, täytä aina yhden valmiin ampullin sisältö sumuttimeen sähkökäyttöisen suihku- tai ultraäänisumuttimesi valmistajan ohjeiden mukaisesti. Inhalaation kesto riippuu inhalaatiolaitteesi tyypistä ja varustelusta ja voi siksi vaihdella. Kuitenkin yhden 2,5 ml Mivolis-inhalaatioliuosampullin inhalaation kesto ei saa ylittää 20 minuuttia. Muussa tapauksessa ota yhteyttä käyttämäsi inhalaatiolaitteen valmistajaan. Kuvaus ja tyyppi löytyvät mukana toimitetusta käyttöohjeesta.
